Code of Conduct

Who May Attend:

  • Attending: Participation in the event is open to those who are at least 18 years of age or who will be so at the time the event begins.
  • Identification: All attendees are required to present proper government-issued photo identification at check-in.

Behavior:

  • Harassment of any attendee, be it physical, verbal or sexual will not be tolerated. Harassment is defined as unwanted contact that persists after the offender has been told it is not welcome. Please notify a member of staff immediately if this occurs.
  • Vandalism includes willful destruction or defacement of any state park property or property belonging to other attendees. If you see this occurring, please report it immediately to a staff member.
  • Public Display of Affection should be kept discreet and out of view of the public and especially any minors. This includes groping, any contact of genitals, passionate kissing, or any sexual contact. This also means noise of these activities that can be heard no more than 50 feet from your sleeping unit. Hugs, scritches and subtle kissing are, of course, perfectly acceptable with consent.
  • Clothing and Attire. All attendees will wear clothing that is proper attire for camping and that is acceptable in public. Attendees wearing anything inappropriate may be asked to change at the request of any staff member.
  • Do not throw trash into the fire.
  • Always listen to Park Rangers even if their instructions may conflict with event staff.

  • If you are bothered by noises sleeping please seek a member of staff and we can try to assist you to the best of our ability

Alcohol, Tobacco and Weapons:

  • Alcohol will be permitted on the premises to those who are of legal drinking age. It will also be the responsibility of those bringing alcohol to verify the age of others they may wish to provide alcohol to.
  • Distribution to Minors: Anyone found giving anyone under 21 years of age alcohol will be immediately required to leave the event. Please report any violations to staff.
  • Smoking is permitted at the campground but please be mindful to not litter.
  • Illegal Drugs. This event is held on state park property, and it is very important that you not bring or consume any illegal drugs. If these are found, we will deal with it by asking you to leave the event. Further, we will contact the appropriate law enforcement agencies. Please do not bring these! This includes prescription drugs not prescribed for you.
  • Weapons are not permitted on the sites reserved by It’s Ruff Out. If found staff will be permitted to remove you from the event.

General Rules:

  • It’s Ruff Out is not responsible for any damage to personal property from environmental, staff or other attendee actions.
  • It’s Ruff Out will proceed rain or shine and no refunds will be given due to weather as we cannot control the weather.
  • Attendees will need to provide their own food and beverages as It’s Ruff Out will not be providing them.
  • Attendees are asked to leave the toilet seats of vault toilets down when not in use to help control the odor.
  • Fursuiters are not permitted in any of the lakes, rivers or family campground showers.
  • Fursuiters are reminded to be cautious around fire pits as they can pose a safety risk to the suiter.
  • Use trails in the park at your own risk.
  • The state park is public and It’s Ruff Out only has a number of sites reserved for our event. Please be respectful of other sites outside our reserved sites.
  • State Park vehicle admission is to be covered by attendees and is not included in the cost of registration. To order a State Park sticker please visit here
